Serbian/Czech internationally renowned dance artist
The seminar with Simona Jović will focus on the initial purpose of traditional dances – to create a space for expression and for an inner experience that influences our daily lives. It will include traditional dances as well as fusions created by Simona for the occasion and it will be beautiful journey through music and dances from the Balkans, Greece, Turkey and beyond. It will incorporate sequences of improvisation, simple choreographies and group dances in circles and spirals. A deep and intimate experience of traditional mouvement.

With Predrag Šušić

Nikola Đurković folk dance ensemble founder and choreographer

Predrag Šušić will introduce us to dances and rituals of his country.
He will take us through powerful and grounded dances of proud women and men from the mountains. We will discover the oriental tradition of ottoman heritage that can be found within the Albanian population in the East of the country. And we will explore the playful and soft energy of the dances from the Adriatic coast. The seminar will also include a traditional costumes presentation and a performance of the folk ensemble dancers.

Adriatic coast discovery - Visit of Cetinje, the old royal capital of the country - Museums - Kotor bay & Perast - Skadar lake - Traditional meals in local families - Encounter with local people and dancers - Sun, beach & sea. Accompanied by Simona Jović who has spent 15 years of her life in Montenegro and Predrag Šušić still living there.



Hotel Palata Venezia is situated in a former King’s Castle on the edge of the 2000 year old fortification on Ulcinj’s coast. It features accommodation with sea views, an outdoor pool and a large shared terrace overlooking the coast. A beautiful sandy beach is 5 min walking distance away. The hotel rooms have a historic feel and provide a unique site worth visiting. The famous "Bey's house" in the old ottoman style is situated on the hotel site.

Regular price for the bookings after July 15th : 1100 €

The prices include : 

  • Airport transfers to and from Podgorica or Tivat airport (group transfers)

  • A whole day excursion across the Adriatic coast with a special focus on Kotor and Perast
